All Erler-Zimmer skeletons are casts of natural skeletons of the highest quality and attention to detail. The models made of durable plastic show all anatomical details, structures, fissures, foramina and processes. All bones are individually manufactured and carefully assembled. Hands and feet are flexibly mounted on wire. Arms, legs and the skull can be easily removed and partially disassembled. The 5-beam roller stand always gives the model a secure footing and enables easy transport from room to room.
FULLY MOBILE SPINE
In order to meet the increasing demands of therapy training, the EZ therapy skeletons offer a fully movable spine. Mounted on a very robust and at the same time extremely flexible metal spiral tube, this spine can easily be moved into any position. In addition to normal postures, incorrect positions and postures can also be demonstrated very impressively. The special flexible intervertebral discs mean that the spine can not only be bent, but also rotated. When the spine is bent, the intervertebral discs behave like natural intervertebral discs, i.e. they can be compressed or expanded. This allows the spine to be bent anatomically correctly without a gap forming between the intervertebral disc and the vertebral body. The spinal cord and the exiting spinal nerves are also shown.
IDEALIZED SKULL
The three-part skull was digitized and adjusted so that it corresponds exactly to the standard anatomy. The size corresponds to the European average size, all important structures, fissures, foramina and processes are present. The skull can be disassembled into skull base, lower jaw and skull roof. The skull roof is aligned with the skull base using metal pins and is held in place by magnets. Unlike with almost all competitor skulls, this technology means that no pin can break off and no gap is created between the skull roof and skull base. There are no annoying locking hooks that can bend or break.
SLIP JOINTS
The shoulder and hip are mounted without any disturbing metal parts and offer the possibility of demonstrating not only rotational movements but also sliding movements in the joint. The joint surfaces slide directly over each other and make it possible for the first time to demonstrate all sliding and traction possibilities in accordance with manual principles and biomechanics.
MOVABLE SHOULDER BLADES
The shoulder blades are mounted in such a way that they can move with the arm movements. This allows the natural movement sequence to be shown.
FLEXIBLE ANKLE JOINT
The upper ankle joint is mounted with rubber and allows any movement. The foot can be easily removed to take it with you to a course, for example.
