Whether you're studying anatomy or veterinary medicine, furthering your education as a student or animal caretaker, or undergoing hunter training – we offer a wide selection of skulls, skeletons, and accessories that can assist you on your educational path or serve as decorative elements in your interior design.

But how did it all begin?

My fascination with skulls and bones began in my childhood. I always had a special eye for nature, animals, and especially bones, which captivated me. During school holidays, I roamed the forests with my childminder, collecting bones. My great dream was to find a magnificent deer antler one day.

During my school years, we moved near a school where our neighbor was a hunter. One day, he gave me two hunting trophies, and my fascination with antlers and skulls grew even stronger. I began to contact hunters and deer breeders throughout Switzerland, traveling across the country by train. Eventually, I had the idea to prepare my own skull. So, I got a fallow deer spike and started boiling it. It took courage to work on this strongly smelling piece of bone, but the result was impressive.

Over time, my interest in preparing other animals grew. As the skulls piled up at home and I lost interest in individual pieces, I started selling them. Initially, I used my father's Ricardo account because I was still a minor. At 16, I created my own online shop. At 18, with some savings from my carpentry apprenticeship, I could afford a better and more complex shop. The name changed from “Tierschaedel” to “SWISSskulls,” and I registered a sole proprietorship. The online shop grew steadily, allowing me to run the business more professionally.

After my apprenticeship, I specialized even more in bone preparation and additionally began selling other decorative items alongside real skulls. To be financially secure, I founded Skullstore GmbH in 2023, as more and more purchases and a larger warehouse became necessary. Since December 2023, SWISSskulls has been part of Skullstore GmbH, offering everything related to skulls, bones, and matching decorative items.
