NATURAL JOINT MOBILITY
Unlike skeletons with metal hinges, Oscar can move its joints freely. The joint surfaces glide over each other and do not stand unnaturally far apart, as is often the case with other models. This allows not only rotational movements to be represented, but also all gliding movements in the joint. Thanks to the quick-release fastener, the connections can be released and reassembled in a flash. Removing extremities is therefore child's play.
IDEALIZED SKULL
The three-part skull has been digitized and adapted to precisely match standard anatomy. The size corresponds to the average European size, all important structures, fissures, foramina, and processes are present. The skull can be disassembled into the skull base, mandible, and skullcap. The skullcap is aligned with the skull base with metal pins and held by magnets. Unlike almost all competitor skulls, this technology prevents pins from breaking off and eliminates gaps between the skullcap and skull base. There are no annoying locking hooks that can bend or break.
The skeleton's spine shows the spinal nerves, the vertebral artery, and a dorsolateral disc herniation.
