Miniature Skeleton with Flexible Spine
Item Description
Scaled-down replica of a human skeleton, half life-size. Arms and legs are fully articulated; shoulder, hip, knee, and upper ankle joints are designed as gliding joints, allowing all natural movements to be demonstrated. The three-part skull, arms, and legs are detachable; the legs can be disassembled at the knee and upper ankle joint. The spine is flexibly mounted, allowing for natural movements as well as misalignments to be shown. The model is mounted on a stand and can be easily removed.
Height without stand: 84 cm
GLIDING JOINTS
Shoulder and hip are mounted without disruptive metal parts and offer the possibility to demonstrate not only rotational movements but also gliding movements in the joint. The joint surfaces glide directly on each other, making it possible for the first time to demonstrate all gliding and traction possibilities according to manual principles and biomechanics.
