Item Description

The lechwe is a species of antelope within the Hippotraginae, native to Southern Africa. Its distribution area extends mainly over the wetlands and swamps in south-central Africa, particularly in countries such as Zambia, Angola, Namibia, and Botswana. The lechwe lives in larger groups and prefers wetlands, riverbanks, and marshy grasslands, where it is always found near water sources.
