There are always antlers that are attached to a wooden skull to be hung on the wall. It can also happen that the original skull of an animal is no longer available (e.g. due to an accident or fallen game). In such cases, artificial skulls are ideal to still achieve an appealing presentation. We now offer these wooden skulls instead of aluminum skulls. One advantage of wood is that the diameter can be easily adjusted with a carving knife, file or sandpaper. After adjustment, the skull can be painted or sprayed with white paint. Make sure it is matte paint, not glossy.

On the back of the deer skulls, there are pre-drilled holes for mounting on the trophy shield. These skulls are also well suited for outdoor mounting. The mounting screws are not included with the skull; it is up to the customer which wood screws or other screws are used. We are sure that you have made the right choice with this skull.
