Real Chamois Horns
Item Description
These genuine chamois horns come from the chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra), one of the most well-known wild animal species in the Alps. The chamois inhabits rocky mountain regions and is known for its sure-footedness and its characteristic, hook-shaped horns.
As part of the legally regulated population control, chamois are culled annually and used as high-quality game meat for food production. SWISSskulls is committed to the resource-conscious recycling of the resulting skulls, bones, horns, and hides, instead of disposing of them unused.
Sustainable animal recycling creates unique collector's items, natural history specimens, educational materials, and crafting raw materials. In this way, valuable natural materials are put to good use, and the overall utilization of the animal is promoted.
Each pair of horns is a natural product and unique, with individual shape, color, and structure.
