Item Description

The black bear is the most widespread bear in North America. Black bears are omnivores that live in forests and mountainous regions. They are excellent climbers and often rest in tree hollows.

This black bear fur is from a North American black bear with the rare cinnamon color variant, where the fur has a striking reddish-brown to cinnamon-like hue. Although its color resembles that of a grizzly, it is a natural variant of Ursus americanus, not to be confused with the brown bear.
