Description
The Trimeresurus albolabris, also known as the white-lipped bamboo viper, belongs to the viper family (Viperidae). This poisonous snake is mainly found in Southeast Asia and prefers to live in forests and bamboo thickets. With its bright green coloring and the characteristic white edges of its lips, it is not only conspicuous, but also perfectly adapted to its environment. Its venom is primarily used to hunt small prey such as rodents and birds.
The skeleton of this fascinating snake is presented in a black box with a plexiglass lid to protect it from dust and at the same time to show it off to its best advantage. The dark background further highlights the skeleton. The box measures 23 x 30 cm.
