Our B-grade red deer hides in summer coat are well-processed and expertly tanned natural products from Switzerland. They originate from local hunting and are particularly suitable for crafts, creative projects, and further processing.

The hides show visible bald spots, hair loss, or other natural irregularities and are therefore offered as B-grade. However, many beautiful and well-preserved areas of the fur are still available for processing. This makes these hides ideal if a completely flawless fur is not required.

Typical for the red deer's summer coat is its warm, reddish-orange to reddish-brown coloration. Compared to the winter coat, the hair is shorter, slightly bristlier, and stronger in its structure.
