Canis lupus |
Genuine Canadian Wolf Fur
Description
The gray wolf, often simply called the wolf, belongs to the Canidae family and is widespread in Eurasia and North America. With an estimated population of around 300,000 animals worldwide, it is one of the most recognizable wild animals. As a carnivore, the wolf hunts its prey independently, occasionally stealing the prey of other predators or feeding on carrion. Its exceptional sense of smell helps it effectively track prey.
Gray wolves are highly social animals that live in packs. These packs typically consist of five to nine members who work closely together and have a clear hierarchy.
