Real Frog Skeleton
Item Description
Toads are amphibians characterized by their dry, warty skin and stocky build. Unlike frogs, they prefer drier habitats and have shorter legs, which enables them to walk or make short hops rather than long jumps. Toads are carnivores and primarily feed on insects and other small invertebrates, which they skillfully catch with their sticky tongue.
This exhibit displays a real toad skeleton, mounted on an imitation wood base.
Each skeleton is unique and may vary slightly in size, shape, and color.
