Real Zebra Skull
Item Description
The plains zebra is the most widespread zebra species in Africa and is known for its distinctive black and white stripes, which vary greatly depending on the subspecies and individual. These stripes not only serve as camouflage in the shimmering savanna light but also for social recognition within the herd. Plains zebras live in the open grasslands of East and Southern Africa, where they undertake long migrations to find fresh pastures.
They are highly social animals and live in stable family groups consisting of one stallion, several mares, and their foals. The plains zebra is robust, resilient, and perfectly adapted to life in dry savannas. As pure herbivores, they feed predominantly on grasses. Despite their wide distribution, some subspecies are endangered due to habitat loss and hunting pressure.
