Item Description
The springbok antelope is one of the antelopes native to Africa. These undomesticated horned animals are neither goats, sheep, nor cattle, and are sometimes only distantly related to each other.
Female springboks have a slender and elegant build. Their fur is sand-colored to light brown with a dark side stripe and white belly. Unlike many antelopes, female springboks also have horns. However, these are finer, shorter, and less curved than those of the males.
Springboks live in the open grasslands and savannas of southern Africa, where they forage for grasses and herbs in herds.
