Item Description

The black bear is the most common bear in North America. Black bears are omnivores that live in forests and mountainous regions. They are excellent climbers and often rest in tree hollows.

This black bear hide is from a North American black bear in the rare Cinnamon color phase, where the fur has a striking reddish-brown to cinnamon hue. Although the color is reminiscent of a grizzly, it is a natural variation of Ursus americanus, not to be confused with the brown bear.
