There are often shed antlers that are mounted on aluminum skulls so they can be hung on the wall. It can also happen that the original skull of an animal is no longer available (accident, fallen game, etc.). For these purposes, artificial skulls are ideal for achieving a very attractive presentation.
On the back of the aluminum skull is a molded-in nut for attaching it to the antler plate and a molded-in pin to prevent slippage. These aluminum skulls are colored bone-like. They are also well-suited for outdoor mounting. Screws for attaching the antlers are included.
