Item Description

The Nile crocodile originates from the river systems of tropical and southern Africa. This impressive reptile can grow up to 6 meters long and weigh up to 900 kilograms. As a large carnivore, it frequently hunts mammals that come to the water to drink. It lies in wait on the bank, surfaces unnoticed, and attacks with lightning speed from ambush. Smaller Nile crocodiles, however, also feed on fish, birds, and other reptiles.
