We believe that education is one of osteology's most valuable gifts. Every human specimen makes an important contribution to the advancement of science. Our specimens come from retired physicians, medical researchers, dentists, and former medical school programs. In addition, we work closely with accredited donor programs.

A small portion - often antique specimens or no longer suitable for medical or research purposes - are made available to osteology enthusiasts around the world. These pieces serve as educational tools and help to spread knowledge about the human body and its extraordinary biology.

Humans ( Homo sapiens ) are bipedal primates who have evolved to become the most intelligent and successful species on the planet. Our complex skeleton, consisting of 206 bones, is both robust and flexible, constantly changing to meet the demands of our lives.
