Item Description
The leopard is one of the world's most adaptable big cats. It lives in Africa and parts of Asia, from savannas to dense rainforests. Leopards are characterized by their golden-yellow fur with dark rosettes, perfect for camouflage in the undergrowth. Leopards are solitary, nocturnal, and extremely adept climbers. They often drag their prey into trees to protect it from scavengers. Their prey spectrum is broad, ranging from small rodents to antelopes. Thanks to their intelligence, strength, and adaptability, leopards are among the most successful big cats, yet they are threatened in many places by habitat loss and poaching.
