Female comet moths usually live only about 4 to 6 days. In this short lifespan, they do not eat, but dedicate themselves exclusively to reproduction. With its long tails and strong color pattern, it is one of the most impressive butterflies in the world. The specimens offered here come from breeding farms where the animals die according to their natural life cycle. No butterfly is killed for preparation purposes; they are donated after they have died naturally.

Their beauty is preserved for a long time in dried form and offers the opportunity to admire this rare species up close.
