Wallabies are small to medium-sized marsupials from Australia and New Guinea, belonging to the kangaroo family. They resemble kangaroos but are significantly smaller. Wallabies typically live in forests, bushland, or rocky areas and are primarily crepuscular and nocturnal. They are herbivores, mainly feeding on grasses and leaves. Typical features of wallabies include their strong tail, which they use for balance, and their powerful hind legs, with which they can make large leaps.
