Eurypelma spinicrus is a tarantula from the family Theraphosidae, originally from South America. The species is characterized by its robust build and distinct hairiness, which can range from brownish to dark in color depending on the region of origin. Like many tarantulas in this group, it is primarily ground-dwelling and digs or uses existing burrows as shelter.

This species is considered calm but defensive when it feels threatened. Its defense mainly consists of flicking urticating hairs and making short threat displays. Eurypelma spinicrus feeds predominantly on insects and other small invertebrates in nature.

The specimen of this fascinating spider is presented in an elegant black box with a glass lid. This reliably protects against dust while allowing a clear, unobstructed view of the specimen. The light background optimally highlights the details of the spider. The presentation box measures 16 × 16 cm.
