Item Description
The red deer, colloquially also called red deer and less commonly referred to as noble deer, is a species of true deer. Among the various deer species, the red deer is characterized by a particularly large and widely branched antler. This antler, which is considered a coveted hunting trophy, is only developed by male animals.
Young male deer, whose antlers do not yet have branches, are called "Spießer" (spike bucks). A deer with three points per antler is called a "Sechser" (six-pointer), with four points an "Achter" (eight-pointer) and so on. A deer with at least three points on each antler has a crown and is therefore called a "Kronenhirsch" (crowned stag).
Specifications of the offered deer:
Farm-raised deer from the Canton of Schwyz
Original photo of the deer
With lower jaw, complete
18 points (crowned stag)
Antlers have been re-colored
