Item Description
The red deer, colloquially also known as red deer and less commonly as noble deer, is a species of true deer. Among the various deer species, the red deer is distinguished by a particularly large and widely branched antler. This antler, which is considered a coveted hunting trophy, is developed only by male animals.
Young male deer whose antlers do not yet show any branching are called "SpieĂer" (spike bucks). A deer with three points per antler beam is called a "Sechser" (six-pointer), with four points an "Achter" (eight-pointer), and so on. A deer with at least three points on each antler beam has a "Krone" (crown) and is therefore called a "Kronenhirsch" (crown stag).
Specifications of the offered deer:
Fenced deer from the Canton of Schwyz
Third head
Original picture of the deer
With lower jaw, complete
12 points (crown stag)
Left brow tine curved downwards, abnormal.
