Description
The African leopard was once widespread across much of Asia and Africa. Today, the largest populations are found in various regions of Africa. Leopards are known for their ability to remain undetected thanks to their patterned coat and camouflage.
They live in a variety of habitats, including tropical forests, swamps, grasslands and mountains. Their diet consists mainly of monkeys, small gazelles, rabbits and occasionally domestic goats or pigs.
