Through animal carcass donations, pet owners, gamekeepers, veterinarians, and other specialists make a valuable contribution to research, education, and preparation techniques.

Donated or purchased animal carcasses – for example, after natural death, accident, or euthanasia – are treated with the utmost respect by us. Through careful work, these become anatomical preparations that are used as teaching aids in veterinary medicine, zoology, or pathology study programs. They help students, veterinarians, and researchers better understand the complex anatomy of wild and domestic animals.

Some of the animal carcasses are scientifically examined in collaboration with pathology students and laboratories before being made into high-quality display pieces, skeletons, or skull preparations. Unusable remains are professionally cremated and disposed of.
